First the hardener coat (Part A) is applied to fill in the micro unevenness on your automotive paint work even after paint correction/polish; then the hydrophobic top coat (Part B) is applied to further level any unevenness on the hardener coat and also gives a silky smooth to the touch finishing.
It is because of the collaborative binding of the 2 chemicals that gives automotive coated with ACX the deepest gloss and shine.
